MANZANA
(Pinot Noir)

One of our newest vineyards, Manzana is planted on the hillside below Dan's house, across from the main Dutton Ranch shop. In addition to the 777 clones planted at the site, it also includes the new Dijon 828 clone. The 828 clone is noted for its large, long and skinny clusters and for retaining acidity well, which is important because it tends to be later ripening. The deeply colored grapes give the wine excellent structure, and it has become an important component of our Dutton Ranch Pinot Noir.
